College Sunday Series: Science
Come join us in this special elective opportunity as two of Northstar's "science folks" - Tyler Farnsworth and Josh Drake - lead a four-week series on "Faith and Science." You'll learn how the Bible can be trusted to speak to all the complexities of evidentiary reasoning and also be encouraged and grow in confidence in your faith.
Introduction
We have a responsibility as God’s people to use the Scriptures to assess the culture that we live in, rather than to passively let the culture shape our perspective. How should Christians approach each other and/or a culture heavily influenced by science? Are science and the Bible always at odds? Is it possible to hold fast to Biblical truth while engaging with the cutting-edge science of our day? How do we minister to such a culture as this?
Beginning October 24, join Northstar’s College Ministry for a 4-week series designed to equip students with a greater awareness of the subtlety of these challenges surrounding Faith and Science. Throughout the series, a Biblical framework will be presented that will enable students to better serve the Church and engage in more productive dialogue with the world.

What can you expect each week?
Our goal with this series is to dialogue and explore how we as Christians are called to engage with a science-based culture without compromising our Biblical worldview. We will seek to build a Biblical framework that will enable us to better interact with our culture in a way that amplifies the gospel and points people to the hope of Jesus Christ. The series will include teaching and built-in discussion time about the weekly topic.
